Fred Coutinho's late challenge caught a Diablos Rojos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. Diablos Rojos's Celestino Villamañan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Borel in the 16th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Villalcazar. Diablos Rojos's supporters rose to their feet, but Lionel-Andrés Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Meirelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doni Meirelles made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sefa Özdemir sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Su Aceituno got a free kick in the 37th minute. Hernani Massa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celestino Villamañan. Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Doni Meirelles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edelmiro Villalcazar went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 45th match minute, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Brito to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfredo Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Teodor Froiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doni Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argoitz Rubalcava in the 54th minute of play. Doni Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Villalcazar in the 55th minute of the match. Edelmiro Villalcazar scored 2-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doni Meirelles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ defense, Edelmiro Villalcazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doni Meirelles. The ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni Meirelles should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute, Manfredo Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Reis came free, but Celestino Villamañan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Majua hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messias made a precise shot to the right of Doni Meirelles. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Hernani Massa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Celestino Villamañan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Doni Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sefa Özdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Fred Coutinho was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 95 played minutes ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Fred Coutinho. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Diablos Rojos had won after a very even match.
