The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alain Morientes during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Morientes to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gerasimos Kalonis sped through Tirant lo Blanch's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mergildo Pascua. Tirant lo Blanch's Mergildo Pascua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonidas Lithopoulos in the 15th minute of play. Daniel Solsona hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Toutourouki f.c.'s Vrasidas Liouras in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mergildo Pascua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Sánchez to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Mundo Suárez got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Demis Thanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonidas Lithopoulos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes, Panos Zablakos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toutourouki f.c. and the Tirant lo Blanch players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 65 minutes, David Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tirant lo Blanch's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Makis Iosifakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Mergildo Pascua made a huge save. Faris Seng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Mergildo Pascua made a huge save. Mundo Suárez hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Giorgos Kazatzidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mergildo Pascua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Mergildo Pascua throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vrasidas Liouras in the 85thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 86 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Mergildo Pascua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerasimos Kalonis. Mergildo Pascua was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Faris Seng showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 87 minute of play. Mergildo Pascua was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Faris Seng capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faris Seng really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. The Tirant lo Blanch fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Toutourouki f.c. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
