C T Futebol Clube's Allan Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Ologu in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of C T Futebol Clube booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Stroiescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Ologu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Cormoranii -MM-'s Alin Gherdan in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Allan Lopez came out of the goal and Alin Gherdan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Nicolae Drăgoi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Lopez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the C T Futebol Clube defense, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Lopez. The C T Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Lopez should have stopped the shot. A collision led to C T Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Paulo José Capixaba hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Aílton Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Godeanu. 41 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Novaes came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, C T Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Allan Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu.

The wind increased when Aílton Novaes made the kick off in the second half. Paulo José Capixaba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dino Zoff came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo José Capixaba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu in the 59th minute of play forced C T Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Allan Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jano Neves fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C T Futebol Clube's protests and gave Jano Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Jano Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Allan Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Hălmăgeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Dino Zoff came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by C T Futebol Clube's Paulo José Capixaba. But to his dismay, Paulo José Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Although Cormoranii -MM- had been in control for most of the match, C T Futebol Clube still came away with the win.
