Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benislav Bozov started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Grozdan Grozev. After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Vesko Kanin got a free kick in the 8th minute. Naycho Strashilov hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Cordeara Abenda's shot from long distance in the 14th minute was not bad at all, but SPARROWS's Adrian Milevski knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 17 minutes, Boniel Abecia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional Potosí and the SPARROWS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Boniel Abecia kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Vesko Kanin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nery Pumpido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Vesko Kanin managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPARROWS's supporters rose to their feet, but Vesko Kanin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nery Pumpido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Tzvyatko Trifonov. In the 48th minute Benislav Bozov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Adrian Milevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Abendano, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vesko Kanin. After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Stanyo Mindizov got a free kick in the 65th minute. Rogelio Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Milevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cugat Abechuco in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Abendano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Adrian Milevski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
