Vintilă Hălmăgeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vintilă Hălmăgeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Călin Bota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdi Saygın Birhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Bota, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Abdi Saygın Birhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Godeanu in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vintilă Hălmăgeanu got free with Abdi Saygın Birhan in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldıray Kudsi in the 32nd minute of the match. If Alin Gherdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batu Cem Sartık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Ferman in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Eusebiu Godeanu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldıray Kudsi in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Batu Cem Sartık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costel Diaconu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abdi Saygın Birhan. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Ferman was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Valentin Agrigoroaiei put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Cormoranii -MM- getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Valentin Agrigoroaiei hit a great ball. Dino Zoff made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Batu Cem Sartık sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Ali Macit Yasık put in a rough tackle. 61 minutes into the game, one of Sadikköy Erdoğan FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Cormoranii -MM-. Nicolae Drăgoi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Abdi Saygın Birhan. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Bota in the 67th minute of play forced Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's goalkeeper Abdi Saygın Birhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Natalio Ferman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Semail Sözen came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dino Zoff could save by the left post. When Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Natalio Ferman, in the 70th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sadikköy Erdoğan FK. 74 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Valadares. Carlos Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Dino Zoff made a huge save. A collision led to Sadikköy Erdoğan FK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Natalio Ferman hit a great ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Vintilă Hălmăgeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Abdi Saygın Birhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Cormoranii -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdi Saygın Birhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Batu Cem Sartık could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Dino Zoff made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Bota came free, but Abdi Saygın Birhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Alin Gherdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alin Gherdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdi Saygın Birhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Ion Stroiescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cormoranii -MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sadikköy Erdoğan FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
