Rodrigo Enmanuel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When Filomeno Anaya fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RÚSTICOS F.C's protests and gave Filomeno Anaya a yellow card for diving instead. Filomeno Anaya kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Nacional Potosí's Cordeara Abenda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Espiridion in the 13th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Abel. Leonel Espiridion took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nery Pumpido. Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nacional Potosí's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Santxol in the 19th minute of play. Rodrigo Enmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nery Pumpido having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Leonel Espiridion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nery Pumpido. Nacional Potosí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Espiridion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 32nd minute, RÚSTICOS F.C's Anacleto Perico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nacional Potosí! Nacional Potosí:s Nery Pumpido showed great skill when he stopped Leonel Espiridion:s penalty. 40 minutes into the match, Anacleto Perico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nery Pumpido. Nacional Potosí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Perico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Leonel Espiridion struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Nery Pumpido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RÚSTICOS F.C.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cugat Abechuco was the one to do the kick off. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Perico in the 57th minute of the match. Rogelio Abel kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Rodrigo Enmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Leonel Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cugat Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Nacional Potosí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cugat Abechuco couldn't finish the play. Ariel Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nery Pumpido having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Rodrigo Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RÚSTICOS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Enmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind RÚSTICOS F.C's goalkeeper Rodrigo Itzaina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of RÚSTICOS F.C booed when Nacional Potosí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cresitobalo Abarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Espiridion, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee ended the match the RÚSTICOS F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
