After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Benislav Bozov got a free kick in the 24th minute. Alfonso Quinito charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Quinito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfonso Quinito hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. German Indalecio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vesko Kanin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Vidyo Mariyanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. German Indalecio came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SPARROWS's Benislav Bozov. But to his dismay, Benislav Bozov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 45 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Benislav Bozov. After the first half SPARROWS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Benislav Bozov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Indalecio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tzvyatko Trifonov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lucas Chance fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devoto club social's protests and gave Lucas Chance a yellow card for diving instead. 62 minutes into the game, Benislav Bozov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of German Indalecio. Benislav Bozov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. SPARROWS's Tzvyatko Trifonov got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Stefan Rendakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SPARROWS's Benislav Bozov got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Benislav Bozov off the ground. The supporters of Devoto club social booed when SPARROWS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benislav Bozov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vesko Kanin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but German Indalecio firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Gaby Batistuta sped through SPARROWS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrian Milevski. Stefan Rendakov's late challenge caught a Devoto club social's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Rendakov helped the player get up and apologised. Lucas Chance received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Adrian Milevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Devoto club social supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SPARROWS's performance. The match ended with a win for SPARROWS.
