Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Piccirilli in the 2nd minute of the match. Cosimo Gaeta struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Dino Zoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bisturi F.C.. In the 9thth minute of the game Cosimo Gaeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bisturi F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniele Piccirilli in the 11th minute. Bisturi F.C.'s Daniele Piccirilli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dino Zoff in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Bisturi F.C.'s Alfredo Oroni got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Bota in the 15th minute of play forced Bisturi F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuele Donadoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuele Donadoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Bota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Călin Bota, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emanuele Donadoni was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Emanuele Donadoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Hălmăgeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Daniele Piccirilli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bisturi F.C. and the Cormoranii -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Bisturi F.C.'s zone, David Ologu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuele Donadoni came out of the goal and David Ologu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alin Gherdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Donadoni having to interfere. Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Piccirilli in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cosimo Gaeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bisturi F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Gaeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Zoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes, Alfredo Oroni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bisturi F.C. and the Cormoranii -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Alfredo Oroni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Ologu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Emanuele Donadoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when Bisturi F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Gaeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Ahmet Bülent Seyfeddin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuele Donadoni skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosimo Gaeta was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Bisturi F.C.'s Cosimo Gaeta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dino Zoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Federico Azzolina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Bisturi F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuele Donadoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu. In the 64th minute Cosimo Gaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bisturi F.C. defense, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuele Donadoni. The Bisturi F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuele Donadoni should have stopped the shot. Bisturi F.C.'s Angelo Miranda was substituted for Ferdinando Palma. 75 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Piccirilli came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Agrigoroaiei kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Bisturi F.C.'s Christian Malandra was substituted for Daniele Piccirilli. After 81 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Agrigoroaiei. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Gaeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, one of Cormoranii -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 96th minute Călin Bota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Donadoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vintilă Hălmăgeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuele Donadoni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Cormoranii -MM- could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bisturi F.C. throughout the match.
