An unexpectedly hard shot by Yanislav Plachkov in the 2nd minute of play forced Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goalkeeper Olcay Orkun Gümüş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Neşat Kadrihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, SPARROWS's goal looked a bit too open when Behçet Canol came free, but Genko Dankin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Valentin Gebrev notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Olcay Orkun Gümüş. Olcay Orkun Gümüş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Christoffer Værnes got a free kick in the 15th minute. A collision led to SPARROWS getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Vesko Kanin hit a great ball. Arda Mahmut charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arda Mahmut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arda Mahmut to maneuver through the defense. SPARROWS's Grozdan Grozev got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Doğaner Arslanoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Genko Dankin. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. Christoffer Værnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Genko Dankin made a huge save. In the 45th minute Göksun Saip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genko Dankin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Gebrev kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vesko Kanin to make the kick off. Olcay Orkun Gümüş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Gebrev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SPARROWS's Benislav Vodenov was substituted for Arhangel Vladkov. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's zone, Grozdan Grozev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olcay Orkun Gümüş came out of the goal and Grozdan Grozev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Yanaki Dimanov. The supporters of Futbol Sevenler Kulübü booed when SPARROWS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grozdan Grozev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SPARROWS's Valentin Gebrev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olcay Orkun Gümüş. That made the score 2-2 after 92 minutes of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
