Leonel Espiridion started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Leonel Espiridion made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nacional Potosí's Nery Pumpido tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ariel Santxol hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Abendano got free with Rodrigo Itzaina in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, RÚSTICOS F.C's goalkeeper Rodrigo Itzaina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Abendano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Enmanuel in the 12th minute of play forced Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quinto Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Itzaina having to interfere. Aaron Nuno kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Espiridion in the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional Potosí's zone, Leonel Espiridion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nery Pumpido came out of the goal and Leonel Espiridion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, RÚSTICOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Rodrigo Itzaina managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Nacional Potosí's Eustaquio Abendano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Rodrigo Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. RÚSTICOS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Enmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nery Pumpido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Rodrigo Enmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 39 minutes, Rodrigo Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RÚSTICOS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Enmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Nuno during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Rogelio Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional Potosí's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Abel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Itzaina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustaquio Abendano to make the kick off. Cresitobalo Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Leonel Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cugat Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Itzaina having to interfere. Rodrigo Itzaina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Abendano in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Leonel Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Eustaquio Abendano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional Potosí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Leonel Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nery Pumpido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cugat Abechuco struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Rodrigo Itzaina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional Potosí. Quinto Abajas hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Rodrigo Enmanuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustaquio Abendano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
