Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeronimo Bertin started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet booed when Pinheiros Capibaras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenílson Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telmo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Bertin, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 12th minute, Jeronimo Bertin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bendito Sea El Fernet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Pinheiros Capibaras FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lenílson Velasco hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Lenílson Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Normando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 25th minute, Valdomiro Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelino Olando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Abel Uzuri came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Bendito Sea El Fernet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Uzuri couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Bertin lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Telmo Chaves. Jeronimo Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Telmo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Pinheiros Capibaras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. When Jeronimo Bertin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Bendito Sea El Fernet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Bertin couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lenílson Velasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Telmo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Bertin in the 52nd minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Bendito Sea El Fernet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Emmanuel to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Tipi came free, but Telmo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Bertin in the 69th minute of play forced Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goalkeeper Telmo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes, Abel Uzuri made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Telmo Chaves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lenílson Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Mario Tipi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Chaves. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Tipi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Telmo Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Bertin in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Clemente Santos got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Abel Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bendito Sea El Fernet fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pinheiros Capibaras FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
