Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The DZ Blue fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when DZ Blue's Arnaldo Johansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 10th minute, Jaume Zegarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Fulgencio Serrano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Valentine was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Torbjörn Engman hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes union española s.a. got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Machuca. DZ Blue's Arnaldo Johansson got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmie Ahlin during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes DZ Blue got a freekick which was hit by Jimmie Ahlin. In the 30th minute of the match Orlín Pedemonte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidoro Valentine showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, union española s.a.'s goalkeeper Gregorio Pinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Johansson. A collision led to DZ Blue getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Börje Fristedt hit a great ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Carlos José Vega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. union española s.a.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos José Vega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, union española s.a.'s Nauzet Fontaner got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Serrano in the 40th minute of play forced DZ Blue's goalkeeper Isidoro Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Fristedt hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Eulalio Sudi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Johansson to make the kick off. Arnaldo Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Torbjörn Engman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claes Rudqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Pinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claes Rudqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. A sloppy throw-in by Marcos Machuca in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DZ Blue's Jimmie Ahlin. Ola Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, union española s.a.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ola Holmgren came free, but Gregorio Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. union española s.a.'s Bonifacio Cavada quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rudolf Almqvist, made in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Ola Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When DZ Blue's Ola Holmgren in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in union española s.a.'s zone, Börje Fristedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Pinto came out of the goal and Börje Fristedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
