DZ Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Johansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 6 played minutes Pinheiros Capibaras FC got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Bezerra. Telmo Chaves was a little too slow when Arnaldo Johansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson Velasco in the 17th minute of play forced DZ Blue's goalkeeper Isidoro Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dieguinho Bezerra hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes of play, DZ Blue's Arnaldo Johansson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 26 minutes, Arnaldo Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DZ Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Johansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Börje Fristedt in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Telmo Chaves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 32 played minutes DZ Blue got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Engman. Arnaldo Johansson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Telmo Chaves firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 39th minute of the match DZ Blue got a corner. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rudolf Almqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lenílson Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Valentine having to interfere. Isidoro Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenílson Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lenílson Velasco to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Arnaldo Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DZ Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A collision led to Pinheiros Capibaras FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dieguinho Bezerra hit a great ball. If Rudolf Almqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sigvard Kinell kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Olavo Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavo Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ola Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ola Holmgren sped through Pinheiros Capibaras FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Telmo Chaves. Ola Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Chaves having to interfere. The supporters of Pinheiros Capibaras FC booed when DZ Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Sjöö didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Ola Holmgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Telmo Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When DZ Blue's Ola Holmgren in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pinheiros Capibaras FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DZ Blue.
