In the 16th minute, Tom Fagrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eskil Kullander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Montiel in the 22nd minute. Zeru Mendana hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Arturo Montiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Santiago's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Montiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eskil Kullander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Alebom in the 30th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Santiago's goalkeeper Leandro Candina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st play minute Arturo Montiel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eskil Kullander. 2-0. Eskil Kullander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuberoa Mesia in the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Montiel in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eskil Kullander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Fusk&Bygg AB booed when Club Deportivo Santiago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Montiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Eskil Kullander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Montiel in the 55th minute of play. Edgar Ferm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Leandro Candina made a huge save. The supporters of Fusk&Bygg AB booed when Club Deportivo Santiago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Montiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Candina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Alebom's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 70th minute Arturo Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Kullander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Ursino Valls was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Santiago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fusk&Bygg AB the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Santiago's Ursino Valls got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Edgar Ferm got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leandro Candina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Alebom in the 92nd minute of the match. Club Deportivo Santiago's Leandro Candina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Santiago from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Erik Alebom dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leandro Candina, 2-1. Club Deportivo Santiago's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
