In the 4th match minute, Fc Schönhagen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovane Dollberg to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Fc Schönhagen's Lutz Wittwer got control of the ball when Arturo Montiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute, Sotomayor Mesia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 minutes, Ekkehard Clemens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Schönhagen and the Club Deportivo Santiago players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Macías Camazon fired a really elegant long shot, but Lutz Wittwer threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 18th minute Gu Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Candina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Fc Schönhagen were awarded a corner. Edgar Krüger went to the cornerflag to take it. Leandro Candina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gu Chen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Fc Schönhagen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekkehard Clemens to maneuver through the defense. Giovane Dollberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Leandro Candina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Terres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lutz Wittwer came out and tried to block the shot, but Evelio Terres slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Rafael Criales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Santiago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Criales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Montiel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lutz Wittwer came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Santiago's Evelio Terres. But to his dismay, Evelio Terres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 54th match minute, Club Deportivo Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Terres to maneuver through the defense. If Edgar Krüger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Krüger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Candina having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Arturo Montiel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lutz Wittwer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 70th minute, Zuberoa Mesia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lutz Wittwer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo Santiago's goalkeeper Leandro Candina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Club Deportivo Santiago got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Adames. 83 minutes into the match, Fc Schönhagen's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Montiel came free, but Lutz Wittwer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lutz Wittwer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Criales, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes Fc Schönhagen got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Krüger. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Santiago's zone, Giovane Dollberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Candina came out of the goal and Giovane Dollberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giovane Dollberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Candina having to interfere. Lutz Wittwer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuberoa Mesia, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
