The goalkeeper, Rüknettin Demirbaş, was totally fooled by Xurupita FC's Frédson Donato, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Rüknettin Demirbaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Rosado in the 12th minute of the match. Rüknettin Demirbaş was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Yan Rosado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yan Rosado really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Arlindo Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teoman Suel went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Xurupita FC booed when Kültepe Spor Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necip Fazıl Aşık didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Carlos Fernando Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xurupita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Gökcan Özakan got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Yan Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xurupita FC and the Kültepe Spor Kulübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Yan Rosado. In the 46th minute, Abdulbaki Aktaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frédson Donato made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Albertinho Proença got a free kick in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdulbaki Aktaş during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kültepe Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Abdulbaki Aktaş hit a great ball. Arlindo Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gökcan Özakan in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Xurupita FC's Carlos Fernando Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüknettin Demirbaş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Arlindo Meireles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rüknettin Demirbaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nildo Miranda during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Nildo Miranda got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Gökcan Özakan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xurupita FC's Arlindo Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Frédson Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüknettin Demirbaş. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frédson Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Arlindo Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökcan Özakan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Xurupita FC fully deserved thier win.
