After a rather tough play, Buffalo Bills's Piotr Diepgen got a free kick in the 20th minute. Abdulbaki Aktaş kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rüknettin Demirbaş was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ole Meul. Teoman Suel took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fritz Ernst Ballas. Fritz Ernst Ballas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fritz Ernst Ballas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zekeriya Ulubay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Zekeriya Ulubay got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Gökcan Özakan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Ernst Ballas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zekeriya Ulubay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fritz Ernst Ballas was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Gökcan Özakan put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fritz Ernst Ballas. Abdulbaki Aktaş got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
