Louie Sheppards short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Arlindo Meireles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arlindo Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Vennerdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Johan Hultin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Donato in the 17th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Johan Hultin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rönnöfors FF's Louie Sheppard got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arlindo Meireles made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Louie Sheppard sent off a good shot on target. Nildo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. A hard shot by Frank Nyqvist from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Arlindo Meireles's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Louie Sheppard kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 44thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Xurupita FC's keeper Arlindo Meireles was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.

In the 51st minute, Börje Vennerdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 52nd match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Johan Hultin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Renato Aguiar got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Johan Hultin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frédson Donato. Yan Rosado's late challenge caught a Rönnöfors FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yan Rosado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Louie Sheppard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Meireles having to interfere. Xurupita FC's Arlindo Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Sheppard in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Yan Rosado got a free kick in the 74th minute. Arlindo Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Sheppard in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Börje Vennerdal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arlindo Meireles was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Rönnöfors FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
