Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Ţugui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iancu Rebec in the 16th minute of play forced Noroeste Paulista's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ana Ţugui got a free kick in the 17th minute. Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Ţugui in the 26th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Noroeste Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Borges. When -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ana Ţugui in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
