Zach Testaferrata Viani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Nick Farrugia. Jean Paul Taliana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Rafe in the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Lluques in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Paul Taliana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes of play, Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★'s Danilo Rafe made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean Paul Taliana was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★ fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★'s Danilo Rafe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★'s goalkeeper Generoso Orlondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★'s Generoso Orlondo got control of the ball when Kevin Musu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 37 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Musu. Amador Cai hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Kevin Musu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Leonard Calleja scored to the left of an out of position Generoso Orlondo, making the score, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Leonard Calleja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Generoso Orlondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Cosme Beliran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nick Farrugia took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Orlondo. Generoso Orlondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 67th minute Leonard Calleja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★ booed when Meerkats FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Musu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Orlondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Musu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 minutes, Cornelio Darien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★ and the Meerkats FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Darien to maneuver through the defense.
