In the 7th minute Omar Cuartio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to LOS MENTI getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Geronimo Etxekopar hit a great ball. With his leg Teodosio Isauro managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when ZEZOM TEAM's Radamel Falcão fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everardo Tavio during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, LOS MENTI's Everardo Tavio got a free kick in the 24th minute. The ZEZOM TEAM fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when ZEZOM TEAM's Radamel Falcão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd match minute, ZEZOM TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Veríssimo to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Diamantino Veríssimo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodosio Isauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radamel Falcão in the 38th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Radamel Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZEZOM TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radamel Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radamel Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Teodosio Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Anacleto Mikolas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOS MENTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZEZOM TEAM the free kick. Anacleto Mikolas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, LOS MENTI's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel Falcão came free, but Teodosio Isauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Manuel Leão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Teodosio Isauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Cuartio was the one to do the kick off. ZEZOM TEAM's José Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Radamel Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omar Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. José Gonçalves took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodosio Isauro. Teodosio Isauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 63 played minutes, ZEZOM TEAM's Ricardo Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodosio Isauro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ZEZOM TEAM reached it. The audience was convinced that Radamel Falcão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Isauro was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Radamel Falcão put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Teodosio Isauro. If José Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Radamel Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZEZOM TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Radamel Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Isauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radamel Falcão took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodosio Isauro. Teodosio Isauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Teodosio Isauro came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by ZEZOM TEAM's Manuel Leão. But to his dismay, Manuel Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 86th minute, Diamantino Veríssimo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When ZEZOM TEAM's Radamel Falcão in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOS MENTI's goalie prevented a goal. LOS MENTI's Santo Anaya suffered a concussion in the 88th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Diego Seabra's late challenge caught a LOS MENTI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Seabra helped the player get up and apologised. LOS MENTI made a substitution. Tobias Esdras replaced Santo Anaya. In the 89th match minute, ZEZOM TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Seabra to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Roano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aquilino Pires. ZEZOM TEAM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. ZEZOM TEAM's Aquilino Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save ZEZOM TEAM from getting a goal against them. There was no doubt that ZEZOM TEAM were the better team. ZEZOM TEAM's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
