Camilo Marin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomáš Zednikovič having to make a save. Tomáš Zednikovič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Marin in the 4th minute of the match. If Ambrosio Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor Kamenec during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when FC DNV Bratiskava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Kamenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC DNV Bratiskava getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mojmír Polc hit a great ball. During the 14th minute of the match Viktor Kamenec completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Viktor Kamenec a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Viktor Kamenec kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Aquiles Domeka fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furia Calamar's protests and gave Aquiles Domeka a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Jaromír Šujanský managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC DNV Bratiskava's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaromír Šujanský was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalibor Mačák came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Simon Beltran could save by the left post. A collision led to FC DNV Bratiskava getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mojmír Polc hit a great ball. Jaromír Šujanský's late challenge caught a Furia Calamar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaromír Šujanský helped the player get up and apologised. Ambrosio Herena took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomáš Zednikovič. Tomáš Zednikovič dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dalibor Mačák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomáš Zednikovič stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Marin's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Tomáš Zednikovič came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Furia Calamar's Camilo Marin. But to his dismay, Camilo Marin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Dalibor Mačák could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Simon Beltran made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ambrosio Herena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomáš Zednikovič was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Pavol Daboczi hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Tomáš Zednikovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Vázquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Ambrosio Herena took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomáš Zednikovič. Tomáš Zednikovič dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

The audience was convinced that Camilo Marin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomáš Zednikovič was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 62ndth minute of the game Ambrosio Herena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Marin kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 74thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC DNV Bratiskava's keeper Tomáš Zednikovič was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 76th match minute, FC DNV Bratiskava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaromír Šujanský to maneuver through the defense. Furia Calamar made a substitution. Herminio Semeno replaced Ronaldo Martínez. The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when FC DNV Bratiskava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaromír Šujanský didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC DNV Bratiskava from getting a goal against them. Camilo Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Zednikovič having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Ambrosio Herena took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Tomáš Zednikovič to make any attempt to save it. The Furia Calamar fans' excitement grew in the 99th match minute when Furia Calamar's Camilo Marin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Furia Calamar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
