After a rather tough play, Chelsicha's Acácio Catarinense got a free kick in the 4th minute. Chelsicha's Diogo Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsicha from getting a goal against them. Diogo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Normando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Marquez in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bernabe Normando hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Bernabe Normando fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Frederico de Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsicha's protests and gave Frederico de Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. Santos Lazcano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Diogo Velloso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Santos Lazcano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Diogo Velloso made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Santos Lazcano notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chelsicha's Diogo Velloso. Diogo Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernabe Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Diogo Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Frederico de Mendonça took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ovidio Oto to make any attempt to save it. OLYMPIACOS FC's Elpidio Brais got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diogo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Lazcano in the 63rd minute of the match. Ovidio Oto made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Frederico de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. After 67 played minutes Chelsicha got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Marquez. Matheus Arósio hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Lazcano in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogo Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of OLYMPIACOS FC booed when Chelsicha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Chelsicha getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Vágner Valadares hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Eusebio Cayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Chelsicha's Frederico de Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidio Oto. That made the score 1-3 after 79 minutes of play. Ovidio Oto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vágner Valadares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Valadares in the 87th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Chelsicha got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Carlos Melo. 92 minutes into the match, Chelsicha's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Brais came free, but Diogo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Bernabe Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OLYMPIACOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Normando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 played minutes Chelsicha got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Valadares. The Chelsicha supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chelsicha would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
