Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Chancy Olympique's Karim Rusch started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Marc Vennerkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arye Suryoye's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Vennerkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo Steingher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 3rd match minute, Chancy Olympique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Büchler to maneuver through the defense. Robert Ljungberg kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. A hard shot by Marc Greub from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Jens Duset's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marc Vennerkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Melker Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo Steingher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Alexander Wenerdahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes Arye Suryoye got a freekick which was hit by Marc Vennerkvist. Jens Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jake Zarrella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Chancy Olympique getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gustavo Huser hit a great ball. When Charles Hamberg fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arye Suryoye's protests and gave Charles Hamberg a yellow card for diving instead. Jens Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jake Zarrella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Marc Vennerkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remo Steingher was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Chancy Olympique's Remo Steingher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Vennerkvist in the 34th minute of play. If Charles Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Zarrella in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Vennerkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Arye Suryoye getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Anton Bållström hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Marc Greub sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens Duset skillfully saved the ball. Charles Hamberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Vennerkvist got free with Remo Steingher in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's Marc Vennerkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remo Steingher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Chancy Olympique's zone, Charles Hamberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remo Steingher came out of the goal and Charles Hamberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabor Helfenstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chancy Olympique booed when Arye Suryoye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karim Rusch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arye Suryoye's Charles Hamberg got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remo Steingher was a little too slow when Charles Hamberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-3. Chancy Olympique's Remo Steingher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Chancy Olympique from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's goal looked a bit too open when Jake Zarrella came free, but Jens Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Hamberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
