Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Tudor Bodea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Petrică Ţirpescu charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petrică Ţirpescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Petrică Ţirpescu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Calistrat Mihalcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Joinvilense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Catarinense in the 17th minute of play. Fausto Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joinville Esporte Clube. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Joinvilense in the 23rd minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Joinvilense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Corneliu Vulpăşin made a huge save. In the 40th minute Petrică Ţirpescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corneliu Vulpăşin was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Zé Joinvilense capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé Joinvilense really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After having played for 46 minutes, Fausto Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Zé Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Codrin Boc took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Eriberto Leão to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th minute Deivid Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Mihalcea to maneuver through the defense. Codrin Boc kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Joinvilense in the 70th minute of play. When Calistrat Mihalcea fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unicorns ™'s protests and gave Calistrat Mihalcea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Joinville Esporte Clube booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Mihalcea didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arnaldo Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Geoană to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Huștiu to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's Zé Joinvilense broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville Esporte Clube's Zé Joinvilense. But to his dismay, Zé Joinvilense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 93 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Dorian do Nascimento came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville Esporte Clube's Dorian do Nascimento. But to his dismay, Dorian do Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Joinville Esporte Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
