Russówek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeusz Pozorski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radomir Turek took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dariusz Ziombkowski. Dariusz Ziombkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Piotr Adamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachary Bentkowski hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Borys Chrobak kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Piotr Adamus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dariusz Ziombkowski skillfully saved the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Piotr Adamus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dariusz Ziombkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Russówek's Edgar Olchowy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dariusz Ziombkowski. That made the score 1-17 after 89 minutes of play. Dariusz Ziombkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Pozorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 93 minutes, Witalis Dlugi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKS Chorzów and the Russówek players grew even worse after the yellow card.
