Dorian do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th minute Pierre Van Leemputte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portus Ganda's Nils Robin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Aguiar in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Fausto Aguiar got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th match minute, Portus Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marten Ombelets to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Zé Joinvilense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Joinvilense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Vaz came free, but Nils Robin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovanni Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Eriberto Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Van Leemputte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Portus Ganda getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Roger Hoolemans hit a great ball. Deivid Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Catarinense came free, but Nils Robin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Fausto Aguiar got a free kick in the 28th minute. Joinville Esporte Clube were furious when Geovanni Leite was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Portus Ganda booed when Joinville Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre Van Leemputte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eriberto Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joinville Esporte Clube's Gonçalo Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joinville Esporte Clube's Eriberto Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennert Van Den Bosch in the 37th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Gonçalo Catarinense got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville Esporte Clube's Gonçalo Catarinense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nils Robin. That made the score 1-0 after 46 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Lennert Van Den Bosch made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Aguiar during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Danny Spoelberchs kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Portus Ganda defense, Fausto Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Robin. The Portus Ganda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Robin should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre Van Leemputte got free with Eriberto Leão in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Aguiar hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Deivid Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Joinville Esporte Clube's Gonçalo Catarinense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils Robin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 91 minutes into the match, Fausto Aguiar notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Portus Ganda's Nils Robin. Nils Robin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eriberto Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennert De Loose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joinville Esporte Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Portus Ganda for a fine match.
