The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Durazno FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Mugur Siniştean scored to the left of an out of position Melchor Acuña, making the score, 2-1. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when Durazno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Unicorns ™'s Mugur Siniştean ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melchor Acuña. Melchor Acuña yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Melchor Acuña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Siniştean in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Raimundo Ofelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Totakoxe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mugur Siniştean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unicorns ™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 77th match minute, Durazno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. Durazno FC's Melchor Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Siniştean in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, Unicorns ™'s Isac Drâmba got control of the ball when Ariel Totakoxe tried to sneak it across the goal line.
