Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Villa Verde FC made a substitution. Falcão Esteves replaced Joel Ramos. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oskar Kihlberg to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Carlsson came free, but Jacinto Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Claudinho Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Verde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Villa Verde FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Betinho Lira in the 82nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Betinho Lira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ted Forsberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Afonso Baiano came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ted Forsberg could save by the left post. Jacinto Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ove Tidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jacinto Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Villa Verde FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Reds throughout the match.
