The tension between the Valette Stars and the I Rossoneri players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of I Rossoneri booed when Valette Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Émilien Gentilhomme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Valentin Bellard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Richard Haraldsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Diamanti came free, but Geoffroy Pernin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Émilien Gentilhomme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Haraldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludvig Carlsson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Vallin was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Valette Stars booed when I Rossoneri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 minutes, Valentin Bellard made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. I Rossoneri's Richard Haraldsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hans Apelqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoffroy Pernin having to interfere. Valette Stars were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over I Rossoneri's much stronger midfield.
