Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Vallin in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ted Forsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, The Reds's Henry Magnusson got a free kick in the 5th minute. The long shot by Stig-Arne Isaksson in the 12th minute really tested Richard Haraldsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Hans Apelqvist fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored I Rossoneri's protests and gave Hans Apelqvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes I Rossoneri got a freekick which was hit by Hans Apelqvist. Ted Forsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Apelqvist went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, The Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Koch came free, but Ted Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Reds's Ragnar Stål got a free kick in the 26th minute. A collision led to The Reds getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alexander Söderkvist hit a great ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Reds's goalkeeper Ted Forsberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Vallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ted Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Diamanti in the 33rd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Almir Diamanti notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of The Reds's Ted Forsberg. Ted Forsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to I Rossoneri getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Michael Odman hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Stig-Arne Isaksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Richard Haraldsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Vallin to make the kick off. I Rossoneri's Jonas Koch got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richard Haraldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Kihlberg in the 62nd minute of play. I Rossoneri's Richard Haraldsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Carlsson in the 67th minute of play. In the 76th minute, I Rossoneri's Almir Diamanti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. 78 minutes into the match, The Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Vallin came free, but Ted Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Sture Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. I Rossoneri's Richard Haraldsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Kihlberg in the 91st minute of play. Richard Haraldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Carlsson in the 92nd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. I Rossoneri walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
