Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) In the 3rd minute Ian Hellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan Girardot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Eliasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Paul Fromont in the 6th minute. A nice corner shot did that Sidney Cayron got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patrik Eliasson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sidney Cayron sped through Koffe Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrik Eliasson. Corentin Joye hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Patrik Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Paul Fromont in the 17th minute of play. Koffe Boys's Patrik Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Paul Fromont in the 19th minute of play. Patrik Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Paul Fromont, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jean-Paul Fromont might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrik Eliasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean-Paul Fromont ran back to his position shaking his head. Ian Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Girardot having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, R.C. Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Hellkvist came free, but Jordan Girardot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Patrik Eliasson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jordan Girardot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Grelsson in the 34th minute of the match. Patrik Eliasson had great luck who in the 37thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jean-Paul Fromont from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jean-Paul Fromont had several of the Koffe Boys's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Patrik Eliasson as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Jean-Paul Fromont came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the R.C. Marseille fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Paul Fromont couldn't finish the play. Patrik Eliasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Paul Fromont's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Markus Lundblad made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gabriel Törnkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Koffe Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Paul Fromont came free, but Patrik Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honoré Lottin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrik Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Paul Fromont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Koffe Boys getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leif Grelsson hit a great ball. Sidney Cayron's late challenge caught a Koffe Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidney Cayron helped the player get up and apologised. Sidney Cayron kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play R.C. Marseille's Sidney Cayron was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Koffe Boys's Bono Sofyan got a free kick in the 70th minute. Sofiane Candau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordan Girardot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Lundblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Didier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Eliasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Koffe Boys's Bono Sofyan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 88th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jordan Girardot but with some difficulty. In the 89th minute, Gaétan Schwartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jean-Paul Fromont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honoré Lottin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Patrik Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that R.C. Marseille were the better team. R.C. Marseille's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
