After a rather tough play, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Esterilla Nembro got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience cheered when Honoré Lottin's long shot passed Zoil Frenes's right side. Gonzalo Matamoro ran back to his position shaking his head. Zoil Frenes made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Corentin Joye sent off a good shot on target.
