Sporting Club Sicilia's Giovanni Morris got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Augusto Vieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzo Style f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Vieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniele De Matteis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arrigo Capone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Scamacca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Domenico Di Mattia got a free kick in the 12th minute. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Giovanni Morris sped through Gonzo Style f.c's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arrigo Capone. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gianluca Scamacca managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 25 minutes of play, Gonzo Style f.c's Enrico Tassotti made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniele De Matteis was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Gonzo Style f.c getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Bruno Antico hit a great ball. Arrigo Capone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Scamacca in the 30th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Enrico Tassotti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniele De Matteis. That made the score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. Arrigo Capone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Scamacca in the 36th minute of play. Daniele De Matteis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Augusto Vieri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 37 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Fausto Tocci got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Enrico Tassotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gianluca Scamacca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gianluca Scamacca was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Edoardo Mozzoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Capone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanni Morris hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Gonzo Style f.c:s Arrigo Capone showed great skill when he stopped Amos Giusto:s penalty. Arrigo Capone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carter Marsili's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Daniele De Matteis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Tassotti, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Gonzo Style f.c from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carter Marsili in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arrigo Capone saved Gonzo Style f.c from getting behind. In the 74th minute of the match Sporting Club Sicilia got a corner. Gonzo Style f.c's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amos Giusto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amos Giusto made a great header on Sporting Club Sicilia's corner, it was just that Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone managed to reach the ball for a save. Carter Marsili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniele De Matteis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Signoretti, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Gianluca Scamacca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arrigo Capone was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Carter Marsili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Arrigo Capone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Marsili in the 92nd minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Arrigo Capone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrigo Capone was a little too slow when Giovanni Morris got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 3-4.
