With a little luck, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Zoil Frenes got control of the ball when Hector Didier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zoil Frenes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hector Didier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erwin Salcines to make the kick off. Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Zoil Frenes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Cayron in the 69th minute of play. Sidney Cayron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Didier scored 5-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zoil Frenes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Erwin Salcines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xaven Monzonis kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Zoil Frenes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when R.C.
