Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when John Beckström kicked off to start the match. Jens-Ove Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Girardot having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Jordan Girardot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Patrik Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Fromont in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Beckström in the 15th minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Jordan Girardot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, John Beckström took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jordan Girardot to make any attempt to save it. 20 minutes into the match, Koffe Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Paul Fromont came free, but Patrik Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Eliasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Paul Fromont's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Jean-Paul Fromont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Paul Fromont scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Eliasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the game, R.C. Marseille's Jean-Paul Fromont nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrik Eliasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Jean-Paul Fromont made the kick off in the second half. Jean-Paul Fromont scored 1-5 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Eliasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrik Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Fromont in the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of R.C. Marseille booed when Koffe Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Grelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Patrik Eliasson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 64th minute, R.C. Marseille's Hector Didier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patrik Eliasson. Patrik Eliasson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Jordan Girardot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Beckström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Hector Didier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Eliasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Jean-Paul Fromont could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Patrik Eliasson made a huge save. Patrik Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Didier in the 85th minute of play. Sidney Cayron hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Edgard Schaal kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Jordan Girardot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Grelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 95th minute, Koffe Boys's Basilio De Pablo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Basilio De Pablo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Koffe Boys protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Basilio De Pablo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. R.C. Marseille's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
