Alisdair Ferries didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nereo Artal went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mariano Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tam Clerk went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Inter MIAMI defense, Tam Clerk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Cortez. The Inter MIAMI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Cortez should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Inter MIAMI getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Robustiano Dodorol hit a great ball. The Lord of the Wings fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Lord of the Wings's Tam Clerk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alisdair Ferries made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Elodio in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Nereo Artal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter MIAMI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Artal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Lord of the Wings's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Elodio came free, but Alisdair Ferries reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Etxeberri might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alisdair Ferries. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paolo Etxeberri ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tam Clerk made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Inter MIAMI's Luisito Gora got a free kick in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stuart McLucas during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Stuart McLucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alisdair Ferries acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benigno Montez. Finlay Falconer scored 5-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Cortez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Falconer in the 80th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Osvaldo Platon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter MIAMI and the Lord of the Wings players grew even worse after the yellow card. Osvaldo Platon kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lord of the Wings's Theo Roberts got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Isaias Urdin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alisdair Ferries was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2.
