Narciso Pacho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Mariano Cortez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Domiku came free, but Mariano Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Mercurio in the 25th minute of the match. Rolando Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Rik, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Isaias Urdin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Rexino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 34th minute, Arsenio Domiku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Artemio Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Inter MIAMI booed when Cadáveres Voladores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match, Nereo Gaizko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mariano Cortez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enzo Estevez to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cadáveres Voladores's Eugenio Mercurio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Cadáveres Voladores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Gaizko to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Rexino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paolo Etxeberri. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Domiku during the 63rd minute. Rolando Rexino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Itzaina came free, but Mariano Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Urdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes of play, Cadáveres Voladores's Efrain Itzaina made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nereo Gaizko hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
