A hard shot 8 in the game by Tam Clerk from a close distance when the talented Aquilino Aguilera managed to make a qualified save. Los Diablos Rojos's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Los Diablos Rojos's Leonel Franco got a free kick in the 9th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Tam Clerk took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aquilino Aguilera to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th minute, Maximo Cloyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximo Cloyo scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alisdair Ferries, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Moore during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Peter Moore hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lord of the Wings's Tam Clerk got a free kick in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Los Diablos Rojos's Aquilino Aguilera got control of the ball when Tam Clerk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aquilino Aguilera made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Tam Clerk sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fragiskos Koukoulekis in the 36th minute of play forced Lord of the Wings's goalkeeper Alisdair Ferries to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Fragiskos Koukoulekis notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Lord of the Wings's Alisdair Ferries. Alisdair Ferries was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Los Diablos Rojos were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tam Clerk to make the kick off. Aquilino Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Falconer in the 51st minute of play. If Tam Clerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquilino Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finlay Falconer, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Aquilino Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tam Clerk in the 72nd minute of the match. If Enzo Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lord of the Wings's goalkeeper Alisdair Ferries, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Maximo Cloyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Diablos Rojos and the Lord of the Wings players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Los Diablos Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Cloyo to maneuver through the defense. Lord of the Wings's Finlay Falconer got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Lord of the Wings's Alisdair Ferries got control of the ball when Enzo Cordarrell tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Finlay Falconer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lord of the Wings's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Diablos Rojos the free kick. In the 88th minute, Finlay Falconer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Lord of the Wings got a freekick which was hit by Stuart McLucas. The supporters of Los Diablos Rojos booed when Lord of the Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy McLewis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tam Clerk, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Los Diablos Rojos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
