Despite this Edvard Berg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Naldo Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Berg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá de Almeida in the 33rd minute of play forced Sledgehammer KO's goalkeeper Edvard Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murilo Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Abrahamsson in the 34th minute.
