In the 19th minute, Dorin Georgescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Purcaresti CSS's Ferdinand Horhoianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabrio Dozal in the 20th minute of play. Paul Drăgan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Xalbador Gamiz made a huge save. Purcaresti CSS's Ferdinand Horhoianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrio Mañe in the 23rd minute of play. Martin Bacanu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Eugen Tiberiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Paul Drăgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute of the match, Eugen Tiberiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Xalbador Gamiz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to GreenUnited getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Zarbonin Sotuela hit a great ball. Eugen Tiberiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalbador Gamiz having to interfere. Xalbador Gamiz made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Eusebiu Stancu sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes, Oliviero Bono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GreenUnited and the Purcaresti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Oliviero Bono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goalkeeper Xalbador Gamiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Drăgan. Paul Drăgan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Xalbador Gamiz made a huge save. When Purcaresti CSS's Eugen Tiberiu in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Purcaresti CSS's Ferdinand Horhoianu got control of the ball when Macario Runs tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Drăgan in the 53rd minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Xalbador Gamiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Macario Runs got free with Ferdinand Horhoianu in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Purcaresti CSS were furious when Ernest Dăianu was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Purcaresti CSS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Ferdinand Horhoianu had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Gabrio Dozal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 76th minute Paul Drăgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalbador Gamiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Purcaresti CSS's Ferdinand Horhoianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Purcaresti CSS from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Antoniano. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when Purcaresti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Drăgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xalbador Gamiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Drăgan in the 89th minute of the match. Paul Drăgan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Xalbador Gamiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purcaresti CSS. Eusebiu Stancu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalbador Gamiz having to interfere. Pompiliu Honciu kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Purcaresti CSS fans cheered their team off the field, for while GreenUnited had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
