FURIA FIEL's Leopoldo Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save FURIA FIEL from getting a goal against them. After 10 minutes FURIA FIEL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dorin Georgescu who took care of the corner kick. After 12 minutes, Dagoberto de Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FURIA FIEL and the Purcaresti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dagoberto de Sousa hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Octav Tomoioagă's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Leopoldo Macedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costică Pacurar got free with Leopoldo Macedo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FURIA FIEL getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Anísio Sena hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Diguinho Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Eugen Tiberiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when FURIA FIEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pompiliu Honciu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Macedo. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Leopoldo Macedo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leopoldo Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costică Pacurar in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Doru Schiau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FURIA FIEL getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Anísio Sena hit a great ball. If Octav Tomoioagă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute, Gigi Drăgan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Macedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when FURIA FIEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FURIA FIEL's zone, Dorin Georgescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Macedo came out of the goal and Dorin Georgescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leopoldo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Tomoioagă in the 76th minute of the match. Gigi Drăgan scored 4-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FURIA FIEL's Leopoldo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Tomoioagă in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Purcaresti CSS's Gigi Drăgan made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Macedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Eugen Tiberiu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Purcaresti CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Tiberiu couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when FURIA FIEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Purcaresti CSS's Pompiliu Honciu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Macedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Purcaresti CSS had played much better football throughout.
