The crowd rose to their feet as Teodoro Carioca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorginho Dias. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Roger Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago da Silva in the 53rd minute of play. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after The Beatles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ademar Peixoto took the corner. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Ademar Peixoto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roger Silva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 56th minute Ademar Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Clemente de Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Beatles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jorginho Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Azevedo in the 66th minute of the match. Jorginho Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Barros in the 85th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Samuca Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorginho Dias. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuca Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 88 minutes into the game, Henrique Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jorginho Dias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorginho Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Antunes in the 91st minute of play. Jorginho Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Teodoro Carioca took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorginho Dias. Jorginho Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Beatles.
