The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Zamalek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul De La Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Santikurtz's late challenge caught a Zamalek FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Santikurtz helped the player get up and apologised. Cleto Santikurtz kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Merlin Dolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Santikurtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Rosalio in the 8th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Merlin Dolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Will Holt. Merlin Dolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lloyd Warren charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lloyd Warren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Lloyd Warren got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Faustino Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ramon Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Dolan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Luzaide in the 30th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Merlin Dolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Cristian Abadia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zamalek FC's Merlin Dolan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Merlin Dolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gilberto Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Holt in the 36th minute of play. Cleto Santikurtz scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Merlin Dolan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Santikurtz in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merlin Dolan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Malcolm Neal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cura del Futbol's Cristian Abadia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Merlin Dolan. Merlin Dolan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Malcolm Neal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carson Sherrill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Holt kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Melquiades Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merlin Dolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Abadia in the 67th minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Alberto Ostadar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Merlin Dolan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristian Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ramon Luzaide hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Zamalek FC's Will Holt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Hernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Luzaide in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merlin Dolan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Abadia in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Merlin Dolan saved Zamalek FC from getting behind. Cristian Abadia succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-7. Cura del Futbol's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
