Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Philip Hedvall took the kick off in the first half of the match. Markus Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo de Souza in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Gonçalo de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Albäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Sidnei Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Albäck. Nye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidnei Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Pedro Augusto de Barros took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Markus Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Augusto de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Faria in the 23rd minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Nye's Henric Nordström got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Pedro Augusto de Barros made a precise shot to the right of Markus Albäck. Nye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 31 minutes of play, Portuguesa's Sidnei Faria made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Albäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Nye defense, Sidnei Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Albäck. The Nye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Albäck should have stopped the shot. Markus Albäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nye's Markus Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto de Barros in the 45th minute of play. Sidnei Faria scored 0-9 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Albäck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Markus Albäck came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Portuguesa's Pedro Augusto de Barros. But to his dismay, Pedro Augusto de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Charles Arantes took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Sidnei Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Albäck having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Gonçalo de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Albäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. 70 minutes into the match, Nye's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto de Barros came free, but Markus Albäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Raúl Rosado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Markus Albäck was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Gonçalo de Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Albäck. Nye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonçalo de Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. In the 78th minute, Pedro Augusto de Barros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Markus Albäck. The goal made the score 0-14. Sidnei Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Markus Albäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Charles Arantes notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of Nye's Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Portuguesa booed when Nye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Gonçalo de Souza took a quick shot and it went in 0-16 without a chance for Markus Albäck to make any attempt to save it. The Nye fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Portuguesa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
