The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eloy Gudesteo made in the 3rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Venancio Mikelar immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of SuperChango booed when Spor Las Huevas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berbiz Gobantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Sierro's late challenge caught a SuperChango's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Sierro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Spor Las Huevas getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Edgardo Sierro hit a great ball. Diego Tijerina hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Juan-Carlos Rasines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SuperChango's German Indar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save SuperChango from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Celestino Urbez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quirze Lizana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Spor Las Huevas's zone, Eduardo Luix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quirze Lizana came out of the goal and Eduardo Luix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Gogo Mascire got a very nice opportunity to score, but German Indar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Quirze Lizana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Urbez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SuperChango's German Indar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txanton Folgueira in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gogo Mascire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Spor Las Huevas's Quirze Lizana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Spor Las Huevas from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, SuperChango's Froilan Clementi got a free kick in the 55th minute. German Indar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txanton Folgueira in the 58th minute of play. Spor Las Huevas's Quirze Lizana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Spor Las Huevas from getting a goal against them. Gogo Mascire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Spor Las Huevas getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Edgardo Sierro hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Juan-Carlos Rasines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Indar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SuperChango getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eduardo Luix hit a great ball. German Indar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Mascire in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Celestino Urbez could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Quirze Lizana however easily saved by the left post. Quirze Lizana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Urbez went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Quirze Lizana made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Eduardo Luix sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SuperChango walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
