In the 30th minute, Osasun Almazan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Albäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After some careless play in the Nye defense, Osasun Almazan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Albäck. The Nye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Albäck should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Kwyjibo's Martin Subijana got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Osasun Almazan made a precise shot to the right of Markus Albäck. Nye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Nye's Markus Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osasun Almazan in the 94th minute of play. Kwyjibo played a much better game than Nye and deserved their victory. The Nye players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
