Niceto Leguizamóns short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Reynaldo Jenaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barreal FC's goalkeeper Honorato Lluciano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Niceto Leguizamón let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 14th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Abreu in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Lluciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18thth minute of the game Sebastian Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barreal FC's Honorato Lluciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led to ATE AFC's Gilberto Nayely getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 22nd minute, Severo Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Honorato Lluciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Barreal FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Barreal FC's Niceto Leguizamón looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 45 minutes, Ricky Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATE AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricky Dacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Abreu to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Siro Abajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorato Lluciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Dacio in the 56th minute of play. When Barreal FC's Niceto Leguizamón in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ATE AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gaspar Erlantz's late challenge caught a Barreal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Tomas Bottin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Jenaro having to interfere. Barreal FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
