Danilo Isusko hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Tommy Norberg came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Vejbystrand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Norberg couldn't finish the play. Henric Nordal scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Jenaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarl Kalfhage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Nayely in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Vejbystrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Tönnberg to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Jon made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vejbystrand's Egon Tönnberg. A sloppy throw-in by Marcelo Jon in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vejbystrand's Egon Tönnberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henric Nordal in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Jenaro saved ATE AFC from getting behind. Henric Nordal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Jenaro having to make a save. In the 24th minute Henric Nordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Jenaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredric Örtendahl during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Fredric Örtendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vejbystrand booed when ATE AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Salomone didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Marcelo Jon in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vejbystrand's Timmy Asplund. In the 36th minute of the game Marcelo Jon made a throw-in which Ricky Dacio played forward. 38 minutes into the game, Gilberto Nayely was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATE AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vejbystrand the free kick. After 38 played minutes ATE AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Nayely. 41 minutes in the game Marcelo Jon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aurelio Batista. In the 43rd minute of the game Marcelo Jon made a throw-in which Aurelio Batista played forward. The supporters of ATE AFC booed when Vejbystrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Örtendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Henric Nordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Jenaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Henric Nordal notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ATE AFC's Reynaldo Jenaro. Reynaldo Jenaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ATE AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vejbystrand were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Sebastian Abreu made the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Jenaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Nordal in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ATE AFC's Ricky Dacio got a free kick in the 58th minute. ATE AFC's Nicolas Zapata was substituted for Aurelio Batista. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henric Nordal in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Jenaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Henric Nordal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reynaldo Jenaro. The goal made the score 0-4. Henric Nordal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Jenaro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egon Tönnberg during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Vejbystrand got a freekick which was hit by Henric Nordal. Jarl Kalfhage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Abreu in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Henric Nordal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vejbystrand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henric Nordal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Jenaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Nordal, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Sebastian Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATE AFC's protests and gave Sebastian Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. Henric Nordal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Reynaldo Jenaro made a huge save. After having played for 98 minutes, Henric Nordal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vejbystrand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henric Nordal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Vejbystrand supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vejbystrand would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
