Murilo Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Jenaro having to interfere. Reynaldo Jenaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, ATE AFC's Eusebio Mano got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murilo Paes to make the kick off. After 55 minutes ATE AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabinho Sarmento who took care of the corner kick. In the 57th minute, Eusebio Mano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, ATE AFC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Jenaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Cordeiro. In the 64th minute, Higinio Vergaray ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wellington Baiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Wellington Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Nayely in the 66th minute of the match. Fred Vianna hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Higinio Garikoitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wellington Baiano. Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sílvio Cordeiro's late challenge caught a ATE AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ekzema F.V.'s Sílvio Cordeiro got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Ricky Dacio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATE AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. With his leg Reynaldo Jenaro managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Ekzema F.V.'s Murilo Paes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of ATE AFC booed when Ekzema F.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 77th minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Wellington Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Samuca Tróia took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Reynaldo Jenaro to make any attempt to save it. 97 minutes into the match, ATE AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Tróia came free, but Reynaldo Jenaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
